Design Motif Review

Consultation

Every web design begins with a consultation in which we assess your business needs and discuss design possibilities. Whether you are a business with an existing site or a start-up in need of a custom designed turnkey website, we will discover the right solution for you together. We also request to view a few of your favorite websites as examples of sites you enjoy and reflect similar asthetics. Every initial consultation is free.

Project Specification and Contract

Every consultation is followed up with an assessment of the labor required to complete your project. You will be provided with a contract and project spec detailing all work to be completed and services required (such as web hosting, domain names, search engine optimization and online tools to help you run your web business efficiently and effectively.

Design, Review, Refine

Once an agreement is reached about the scope of the project and you have given a 50% deposit, design work begins immediately. Three design proposals, each consisting of a hompage and one secondary page, are provided to the client based on inital consultaion. The client chooses from the three design proposals a final version, sometimes, mixing and matching design elements from each proposal. Two rounds of revisions of the final proposal are included in the project spec. As the client's website is being built they can view it at a password-protected staging area.

From image processing and graphic designs to site development, and search engine optimizations, we will design a site that reflects the soul of your business.

Publishing Site

After a final review and approval of the completed website, the last step of the process is to get the site published, posted in search enginges and working for you!

Beyond this basic process of web design and implementation, Design Motif can work with your business to find web hosting services, identify and purchase a domain name, implement e-commerce tools, optimize your site for web searches, and implement effective e-mail marketing campaigns.
